5 Reasons Why Notes Are Better Than The Masters

Don’t get me wrong, the Masters is my favorite golf tournament of the year. Augusta National is like Disney World for golfers. Last year I got to attend the practice rounds for the first time and it blew away my high expectations. Every blade of grass is perfectly manicured, all the best players in the world are there, and the food and beers are amazingly cheap. But what I appreciate the most is the intense level of organization. The entire operation runs like absolute clockwork. Its really amazing what they have been able to achieve.

Fortunately it is a lot easier to win the note game than it is to compete at the Masters. You don’t have to be one of the best in the world to make great returns. Here are 5 reasons while note investing is better than the Masters:

#5 There are lots of winners
Only one green jacket is awarded each year, but every year there are thousands of profitable note investors. The supply of notes in the market is more than large enough to provide ample opportunity to the 5000 or so note investors out there, and there is plenty more supply in the pipeline.

#4 You don’t need nerves of steel
There are lots of famous stories of players who were on their way to win the Masters only to have their nerves get the best of them. To win at notes you need some steady due diligence and well thought out processes. But you shouldn’t run into these all or nothing moments in the note game.

#3 There is more margin for error
Augusta National is renowned for its fairways that are cut super tight, and the ultra fast greens which leave only a slim margin for error. With notes the ROI’s are high enough, and there are enough exit options that even if you make a mistake you can usually weasel out of it.

#2 No slow play penalties
There is no shot clock or slow play penalty in notes. You can take as much time as you need to make a decision. If you miss out on a deal there will always be another one. This doesn’t mean you should get stuck in paralysis by analysis. But you should never make a hasty decision either.

#1 Its accessible to everyone
If Augusta National is one thing it is exclusive. Its definitely a very small club. To play in the Masters you have to be one of the best players in the world, and the field is much smaller than a typical PGA Tour event, and its the smallest of the majors. But note investing is available to anyone who is willing to put in some time and effort, get some training, and then take action.

Don’t forget that NoteCamp 5.0 is this week.  I hope to see you there. But I’ll also make a lot of time to watch the Masters and follow the return of Tiger Woods..
