This week I’ll be in Dallas for Note Expo 2018. I attended last year and it was a great event. If you are going to be there, please drop me an email or a text and I’ll try to catch up with you. This is probably the largest note investing conference of the year, and its a great opportunity to talk to people face to face. There is some good content in the sessions, although most of it is fairly high level. So I’m going to focus on meeting with other note investors, vendors, and will be on the lookout for new sources. Hopefully I’ll see you there.
Note Buying Updates
Last week I closed on 2 notes. One was in Muncie, IN and the other was in Dayton, OH. These were assets I was able to scope out myself while on my road trip a few weeks ago. These were higher value / higher quality assets than I typically deal with.

I’m starting to see more tapes as we get into the fourth quarter, which was to be expected. But lately I’m seeing a lot of recycled or low quality assets on the tapes. I expect things to stay busy during November and will hopefully find a few more I can close on before the end of the month.
