I Want to Go Fast

Last week I flew down to Austin to attend Scott Carson’s Fast Track training. Its was 3 jam packed days of training on how to build a notes business. All aspects of the business were covered. I traveled to this because I want to build a notes business fast.

What I learned:

  • Tons on automation and scaling, lots of tools and ideas for streamlining your business.
  • Marketing, marketing and more marketing. I came away with this with a solid game plan that I’ll be executing on in the coming months.
  • Sourcing. This alone is worth the price of admission.
  • Scott is cool. Of course I already knew that, but he really went out of his way to care of everyone and make sure we had a good time.

I now I have what feels like a million things to go execute on. I filled almost an entire legal pad with notes, and I’ve been putting all my action items into a spreadsheet so I can track them. I have 77 to-do’s from Fast Track on my list. Some of them will be fairly quick and easy. Others will take more time. (Adam Adams Pipedrive videos here I come….) Others are things that need to be done on an ongoing basis like email and social media.

If you want to go fast with your notes business (and not be last), I highly recommended checking out the Fast Track.  I think there is a huge opportunity in distressed assets right now that should be taken advantage of, and this was a great way to speed things up. Besides, if you want to go slow you can always find plenty of opportunities to do that in another line of business.

Shake and bake,

Dan
