Negotiating Forbearance and Trial Payment Plan Agreements

On Thursday October 24 I’ll be presenting at the monthly Investor Network Community (INC) meeting. If you are in Colorado I hope you can come out and attend. It will be at Mudrocks in Lafayette at 6pm. You can sign up here: https://www.meetup.com/InvestorsNetworkCommunity/events If you aren’t a member of INC you can attend one meeting for free. They draw a fairly large group of local real estate investors, and there are a number of note investors who usually attend.

I’ll discuss key decisions that come up in note investing, particularly when negotiating forbearance and trial payment plan agreements. If your note investing strategy is to buy non-performing notes and then try to get them to reperform, it obviously has a huge impact on your ROIs. But its a subject I really don’t see discussed and I think it deserves more attention.

If you aren’t in Colorado or can’t make it I’m going to do a live webinar the following week on Tuesday October 29 at 6pm MT / 8pm ET. The webinar will be shorter and I’m going to change up the content a little from what I present at the INC meeting. Here is the info to sign up for the webinar:

When: Oct 29, 2019 06:00 PM Mountain Time (US and Canada)

Note Investor Podcast Episode 8, Indiana Trip Report

This week on the podcast I discuss my recent trip to Indiana. I talk about my REO with 5-6 feet of water in the basement and another REO that was a full blown hoarder house and has now been fully rehabbed. On the YouTube video I show a lot of before and after photos. You can listen to the episode on iTunes here or watch it on YouTube:
